Big Leg Emma was formed in the summer of 2001 after long time musical partners Steve Johnson (songwriter/vocals/guitar) and Charity Nuse (songwriter/vocals/mandolin/djembe) met Amanda Barton (fiddle/vocals) through mutual friends.
